🐥 Its beautiful story :
This necklace is an upcycled jewel*: it was created from an entire bracelet set with emeralds.
Cleopatra was the first notable amateur of emeralds. According to ancient texts, the greatest queen of Egypt loved to wear this stone to enhance its legendary beauty, so that emerald had become in Egypt ... the queen of stones.
Symbol of renewal and spring because of its beautiful green color, emerald was often presented as an offering to the gods to bring eternal youth.
In lithotherapy, the emerald would represent fidelity in friendly and loving relationships, as well as the happiness they bring.
* Upcycling, is an Anglo-Saxon word that literally translates as "overcycling" or "recycling from above" . The main difference between recycling and upcycling is the design of the finished product. Indeed, when we recycle, we destroy the material in order to rebuild again. With upcycling, it's the other way around! You take an object as it is and revalorize it, without spending additional energy to deconstruct the available material.
