Its beautiful story:
Citrine is found as a semi-precious stone as early as 300 BC in ancient Greece. They dedicated this stone to the goddess of agriculture and crops, Demeter.
It was then very popular in the 19th century, during the art deco period between the wars. It was worn by many Hollywood stars including Greta Garbo and Joan Crawford.
Citrine is the birthstone for the month of November, along with topaz.
In lithotherapy, it is attributed many properties: this stone of wealth would promote abundance. It would also strongly develop creativity, and purify the energies of the person being in contact with it.
