Its beautiful story:
The ruby has always been considered in history as a stone of war, courage and protection.
In Burma, warriors wore rubies meant to make them invincible in battle, and inserted them directly under the skin.
Chinese warriors adorned their swords with rubies for protection, and placed them in the foundations of buildings to ensure prosperity for their families
In medieval times in Europe, the ruby was then associated with courage and ardor. It appeared as a royal badge on crowns or helms, and was believed to protect the knight from injury.
The rulers of the East also wore many rubies which symbolized their power: Marco Polo described in particular the ruby of the king of Ceylon, Sendemain or of the king of Siam.
